Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician for the Charotte, NC area

We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Servie Techncian that has 3 plus years' experience obtained broad knowledge & through extensive work experience in relevant role(s)or obtained broad knowledge through extensive work experience in relevant role(s) in Services Department Field Service Technician work focuses on installing, configuring, calibrating, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations including:


  • Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment

  • Installing and t roubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions

  • Determining when products should be upgraded or replaced

  • Provides electrical services with specific responsibility for repairing and or replacing fire and security alarm systems and related equipment

  • Maintaining necessary servicing tools and materials

  • Respond to emergency service calls

  • May provide onsite training for customer support personnel

  • Conduct FA devices


Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency :

Works under limited supervision for routine situations.


  • Provides assistance and training to lower-level employees.

  • Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.

  • Execute installation, maintenance and repair on customer installed base, in a specific delimited know-how


Requirements:

  • NICET certification preferred

  • Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus

  • Experience with commercial

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

A plus if you have:

  • EST 3 Safety

  • CCTV
