Mars is looking for a Reliability Analyst to join us at one of our manufacturing plants in Topeka, Kansas.

This position primarily focuses on supporting the technical team's overarching objectives/visions by ensuring effective maintenance information flow. This role is responsible for developing and enhancing metrics and reports to deliver timely, quality data. This role will assist the reliability engineer in key functions such as problem-solving and preventive maintenance optimization.

The position is intended to relieve technical leadership of routine processing. This role must be able to provide data to key stakeholders both inside and outside the technical team, including but not limited to Site S&F Manager, Value Stream Managers, Site Director, and MAKE Team.

Responsibilities


  • Provide the technical leadership group with routine metrics including but not limited to PM03 Compliance, PM05 Compliance, Schedule Compliance, Backlog Hours, OT %, Ratio of Planned to Unplanned Work, PM Calendars, BDA Completion, and EAR Report.

  • Compiles and tracks metrics provided by other technical team members. Collaboration may be required to ensure successful and accurate measurements. These metrics include but are not limited to stock-out events, MRO Value, Cycle Count Accuracy, % of Technical Associates with Skills Assessed, and Training Hours per Technician.

  • Maintains technical metric dashboard and provides periodic communication presentations for the site technical leadership group, network technical managers, and the MAKE team.

  • Participates in community of practice calls with Reliability Analysts from other sites to share ideas and benchmark best practices.

  • Act as site point of contact for SAP and NetWeaver. This includes conducting new hire NetWeaver training and managing role requests for the site.

  • Supports site ISO and Calibration Program by managing and retaining critical documentation and assisting with calibration software initiatives and needs.

  • Provides support in problem-solving activities by providing historical data trends for equipment, managing the problem-solving database for the Topeka site, and aiding in facilitating problem-solving meetings and events.

  • Provide support during preventive maintenance optimization activities by gathering and providing historical data on assets and facilitating failure modes effect analysis activities with cross-functional teams.

  • Provides requested reports, equipment analysis, and history reports to technical leadership and other sites as needed.

Education & Professional Qualification


  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent

  • Demonstrated propensity for learning quickly.

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Mars Web, CMMS, Databases

Knowledge/Experience


  • 3 years' experience in a factory setting.

  • Strong computer and administrative skills

  • Ability to interpret data.
