Primary Function of Position

This exciting role sits in the Global Business Services Program Management Office (PMO), delivering effective and efficient programs and services through Program Management, Business Improvement and M&A Integration. This role will report to the Director of M&A Integration and will contribute to Intuitive's success by delivering impact, profitable results, proactive risk management and contribution to growth. The ideal candidate is an energetic team player who understands how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. This candidate must also have an interest in innovating to solve business problems creatively and a willingness to immediately tackle key challenges.

Essential Job Duties


  • Program Management Leadership: Develop, communicate, and execute the vision, strategy, and objectives for cross-functional programs & projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and priorities.

  • Strategic Focus: Demonstrated ability to pivot and prioritize effectively, showcasing a commitment to strategic objectives. Proven experience in promptly redirecting efforts and resources towards M&A activities, ensuring dedicated focus and seamless execution when a deal goes live, even amidst concurrent projects.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project teams, and external partners, to facilitate successful project delivery and collaboration.

  • Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation, including budget, talent, and technology, to ensure efficient project execution and alignment with the department's strategic objectives.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges, proactively develop mitigation plans, and ensure successful risk management throughout project lifecycles.

  • Performance Measurement: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate success, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing across different functional areas within Intuitive to drive continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Budget and Financial Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate portfolio status, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Change Management: Collaborate with Organizational Change Management team to ensure initiatives and transformation projects are implemented with minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical skills and business backgrounds providing experience with effectively framing issues to efficiently arrive at solutions.

  • Ability to define projects and their goals, estimating budgets, risks and resources required.

  • Strong understanding of financial and business principles, risk management, and performance measurement.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels. High comfort and maturity interacting with senior leadership.

  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities; comfort working in the gray area.

  • Ability to identify and articulate complex cross-functional dependencies, synthesize findings into key takeaways.

  • Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.

  • Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity. Able to adjust to multiple demands while constantly shifting priorities under tight deadlines and time constraints.

  • Ability to thrive and flourish in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-cultural and global environment.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Smartsheets or other project management tools and software.

  • Experience working with Finance stakeholders and translating qualitative decisions into quantitative impact.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments in large, complex, and multi-phase programs.

  • Willingness and ability to travel (including internationally).


Required Education and Training

  • Minimum Master's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, finance, philosophy, or related field

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in program or project management, internal consulting, strategy, M&A integration, process improvement, data analytics or related area.


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • MBA

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or PfMP are a plus

  • Academic or working experience in M&A, operational due-diligence, and integrations

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $141,500 USD - $203,600 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $120,200 USD - $173,000 USD
Shift: Day
Travel: 25% of the time
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
