Assembler Temp

We are looking for an Assembler Temp for our Westbury, NY facility. We are looking for energetic and passionate students that want to grow in the manufacturing field.

Your Responsibilities


  • Perform secondary operation such deburring, cleaning or polishing.
  • Machine Operation - Operate machine or manual lathe.
  • Assembly electromechanical devices
  • Inspect mechanic and electric device using blue print.
  • Perform maintenance routine.
  • Create standard tool kit for jobs and centralized tooling.
  • Quality inspection.
  • Create/Identify/Design better tooling for machining operation or assembly.
  • 5S activities & Continue improvement initiatives.
  • Special projects in the production floor to improve productivity / Small Kaizen events.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Your Profile

  • Must be incoming Junior or above.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Knowledge of Windows, WordPerfect, Word, Lotus 1-2-3.
  • Basic knowledge of inspection measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and high gages.
  • Knowledge & inspection of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Understanding of Calibration principles.
  • Want to grow in the manufacturing field and become Machinist, Assembler or Manufacturing Engineer in the future.
