Our Global Operations and Supply Chain (GO&SC) PMO organization is looking to add a strong and talented Senior Program Manager to its team, to lead complex, global, cross functional manufacturing operations focused programs.

In this role, you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. You will be a member of the GO&SC network organizing and leading cross-functional projects on high visibility project initiatives. You will lead a cross functional team to deliver major, multi-site programs to optimize Medtronic's global manufacturing footprint.

A Day in The Life

• Lead a cross functional team(s) to deliver major, multi-site programs to optimize Medtronic's global manufacturing footprint.
• Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
• Monitor the project from initiation through delivery
• Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients

Must Haves
• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of Engineering Program Management experience OR advanced degree and 5+ years of Engineering Program Management experience

Nice to Have
• Experience of running major cross-functional programs in manufacturing operations, including facility set-up, line transfers and restructuring
• Knowledge of catheter medical device manufacturing
• Comfortable and credible when interacting with senior leaders
• Detailed understanding of planning and execution of manufacturing transfers, including drawing/specifications, technical files, validations and design verifications, sterilization and product registrations
• Experience of working with suppliers and contract manufacturers
• Understanding of medical device industry, awareness of regulations and their potential implications in project planning
• Strong leadership and Project Management skills (capacity analysis, resource planning, meeting management)
• Detailed knowledge of PMI processes, PMP accreditation
• Lean Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred with familiarity of DMAIC process
• Awareness of employee relations implications for restructuring activities

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
