Job Description:
HotFoot Recruiters is partnering with an leading international producer and supplier of soybean protein products to fill the role of a Bookkeeper at their Heath, Ohio location.
Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Heath, OH
Type: Direct Hire, On-Site
Salary: $50K-$60K
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records by establishing accounts, posting transactions in SAP ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Record journal entries, including home closing sales and cost of sales, in the general ledger.
- Set up new vendors and customers in accounting systems and reconcile bank accounts.
- Analyze monthly financial statement activity and variances in actual spending versus budgets.
- Prepare account reconciliations and assist in preparing the monthly financial reporting package.
- Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and manage employee expense claims.
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complexity.
- Proficiency in data entry, accounting principles, and confidentiality.
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- SAP proficiency is highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Mandarin/Chinese is a PLUS.
