Overview: As a Senior Director Lean Sensei, you will be responsible for leading and driving Lean transformation initiatives within our organization. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Lean methodologies, guiding teams to identify and eliminate waste, improve processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of Lean strategies and initiatives across all departments and functions.
Provide coaching and mentorship to Lean practitioners and project teams, ensuring alignment with Lean principles and methodologies.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define Lean objectives, establish performance metrics, and monitor progress towards organizational goals.
Conduct Lean assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans to drive operational excellence.
Facilitate Lean training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
Serve as a change agent, promoting Lean principles and practices, and overcoming resistance to change through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Lean management, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Lean management, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
Proven track record of leading successful Lean transformations in large organizations, driving significant improvements in quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, develop data-driven solutions, and measure the impact of Lean initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Must be able to travel up to 15% both domestic and international.
