This role will:



  • monitor program milestones and implementation to ensure on time delivery of strategic laboratory programs.


  • implement and maintain processes to report updates/escalations to leadership and the broader organization; and


  • implement and maintain policies, SOPs, and resource material for the end users.


  • assist with building strategy and communication documentation for executive leadership.

  • You have experience in project management, managing complex projects cross-functionally.

  • You have strong clinical laboratory business acumen.


  • You are proficient with Microsoft Suite of Tools: Excel, Visio, PowerPoint




Additional role responsibilities:


  • Plans and manages multi-functional laboratory development projects and/or several smaller multi-functional laboratory development projects simultaneously, in conjunction with laboratory practitioners.


  • Coordinates program and project resources to identify the root cause(s) of program and project issues. Develops and manages plans to fix, test, and implement appropriate solutions through completion.


  • Identifies risk trends and patterns across programs and develops risk mitigation strategies for systemic risks.


  • Oversees program communication for project team(s) and between project team(s) and executive management.


  • Creates, conducts, and monitors regular audits. Identifies the need for and implements necessary changes to programs to meet requirements.


  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.


  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.


  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.
