Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Front-End Developer with experience in developing front end code to be integrated into Sitecore by our back-end developers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly, visually appealing, and responsive websites and web applications that play a crucial role in the delivery of healthcare services, research, and education. Key Responsibilities:
Front-End Development:
Utilize Sitecore CMS to develop and maintain the front-end of our websites and web applications.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers using tools like Figma to implement visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
Ensure responsive design for optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
Sitecore Integration:
Collaborate with the back-end development team for seamless integration with data sources and backend systems.
Optimization:
Implement best practices for web performance, including optimizing page load times and minimizing HTTP requests.
Cross-Browser Compatibility:
Ensure that websites and web applications function correctly across different browsers and resolve compatibility issues.
Security:
Implement security best practices to protect sensitive healthcare data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Documentation:
Document code, processes, and configurations to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and back-end developers, to deliver cohesive digital solutions.
Stay Current:
Keep up to date with emerging front-end development trends, tools, and technologies, and propose their adoption as relevant.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or related field.
2-3 years of proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong portfolio of web projects developed using Sitecore.
Proficiency in website development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their respective frameworks. Experience with the language's latest features highly desired.
Strong knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
Experience with Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator design tools.
Experience with Git and GitLab.
Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of healthcare systems and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
