This role is on the Case Management Policy Accounting team which is responsible for the oversight and certification of daily, monthly, and annual clearing and reconciliation and reporting activities. As an Accountant II, you should be a highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver that has a track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities include assisting Policy Accounting team follows:
Daily reconciliation functions:
• Research, review and ensure accuracy of policy level accounting.
• Balancing of Accounts, to include General Ledgers, Suspense accounts, Premium accounting, and Investment Separate Accounts
• Commission and asset-based service fee accounting.
• Reconciling trade activity at unit and account levels
• Auditing of disbursement payments (commissions, surrenders, death claims, withdrawals, loans, refunds)
• Manage Separate account projections and intercompany wire transfer requests.
• Ensure reconciliations and differences are resolved and documented.

• Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required
• Insurance and policy accounting experience a plus
• Advanced Excel skills
