Law Enforcement Specialist

This is a HYBRID REMOTE position.


The Law Enforcement Specialist provides physical security subject matter expertise to the MAA and MA Program Office.



In this role you will....


  • Participate in the pre-assessment coordination, MAA onsite, report development and Mission Assurance protection program related request for information.

  • Must have familiarity with Mission Assurance/law enforcement applicable policy, standards, and benchmarks.

  • Maintain applicable security clearance requirement.

  • Provide technical support to the law enforcement security program.

  • Provide Law Enforcement risk and readiness assessments.

  • Align support with Doctrine, Organizational, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) assessments to the program management functions executed by HQMC Deputy Commandants, force provider commands, and Marine Forces Reserve.

  • Provide assessment results and products to the Government in a variety of formats including written reports, information papers, data spreadsheets, and briefings. This includes providing raw and interpreted data for import into related risk products and established readiness reporting systems


Experience Requirements:

  • Ten (10) years or more desired experience as a senior-level expertise and experience in National, Interagency, Departmental, policies, strategies, and plans with regard to physical security, law enforcement and mission assurance programs which must specifically include Defense continuity, critical infrastructure protection programs, or the National Military Command System

  • Five (5) years or more desired experience executing higher headquarters MA program reviews and installation level MA assessments


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university OR ten (10) years or more of experience directly related to law enforcement/security operations, including relevant military experience.


Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS SCI level clearance




Other Requirements:



  • Required travel minimum 50% of the time

  • May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings

  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

This position is contingent on funding.
