The Gogo Business Aviation Material Handler performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Check's goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Review's customer orders, examines, stocks, and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

General Duties

• Assist with maintaining AS9100 requirements and certification

• Understand and assist with any inventory transactions, and data recording required to produce Gogo products

• Assist with physical inventory requirements, and cycle counts as required

Receiving

• Daily processing of material receipts to ensure PO’s/receivers are accurate

• Deliver incoming material to the proper recipient in a timely manner

• Process RMA material to ensure that these materials are handled in a timely and correct manner to ensure customer requirements and Failure Analysis requirements are met

Shipping

• Ensure daily shipments of all products are processed in a timely manner to assure on-time-shipments and the processed orders are correct and complete

• Shipping of product to both Domestic and International Customers using UPS, FedEx and other carriers as required

• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and packing product

Kitting

• Process completed racks from production and incoming inspection placing material in correct locations/bins

• Pull production orders (kits) per daily priority list

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory

Material Review Board (MRB)

• Process non-conformances from production and incoming inspection placing material in correct locations/bins

• Complete rework orders as needed

• Pull transfer orders and purchase return orders accurately and in a timely manner

• Work with multiple departments to manage MRB inventory levels and keep inventory moving through the process

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

• 1+ years of stockroom and inventory experience

• Excellent computer skills

• Must be willing to be on call some weekends and holidays (rotation)

• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks

• Relates well with other people and serves well as a team member

• Demonstrates solid verbal and written communication skills. May assist with presentation preparation

• Detailed oriented, can prioritize with a sense of urgency

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TALENTS

• Familiar with ISO9000/9001 (AS9100 preferred) requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, twist, turn and crawl in/out of tight spaces

• Ability to see and read small print, on circuit boards

• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time

• Ability to count and handle small parts

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

17.60 - 22.00 USD Hourly

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
