This is a role that reports directly to the Executive Vice President for Core Lab Solutions the Sr. Vice President, Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing will provide strategic and operating leadership over the business line's operations including manufacturing plants in USA, China, Ireland, for both instruments and reagents. Other core leadership functions include global integrated business planning, demand planning, & external/third party manufacturing,


Accordingly, the role includes the following core leadership responsibilities:


• Develop and execute a strategic plan for the CLS supply chain function including, site optimization, processes, organization, and technology.


• Foster strong relationships with Commercial, Customer Services, Quality, R&D with a focus on customer orientation, business process excellence, financial and people leadership. Be a strategic and valued voice on the leadership team.


• Manage current day-to-day supply chain operations to enable flawless execution in support of continued revenue growth.


• Continuously optimize the supply chain -driving financial performance through efficient operations.


• Drive outsourcing strategy and the management of contract manufactures and third-party service providers.


• Build a strong talent bench in the supply chain organization globally, collaborate with peers on talent development.


• Work closely with the Core Lab Solutions leadership team to contribute to the growth strategies and operational plans of the business.


• Define the operating approach to transition new products from R&D to production.


• Develop and execute on a strategy for outsourced manufacturing operations where and when appropriately aligned with their commercial plans.


• Hands-on strategic leadership of supply chain management, including negotiation, strategic planning and forecasting, cost reduction initiatives, quality control and consistent supply chain operations.


• Ensure implementation of quality management systems/processes in support of manufacturing.



Candidate Profile


We are seeking an exceptional integrated supply chain executive with experience leading complex global operations and who will bring the drive and passion for developing high-performance capabilities and teams. This executive will have the following experiences and personal qualities:


• 15+ years of experience in supply chain and manufacturing leadership from diagnostics-focused companies with complexity and scale.


• A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering or Business, is required; an MBA is preferred.


• Inspirational leadership qualities, ability to motivate others to follow a common goal.


• Successful professional track record and executive leadership trajectory, responsible for substantial mission-critical operations facing significant increase in demands or change in past leadership roles.


• Proven success in applying sophisticated manufacturing management practices and in optimizing and reducing the cost of manufacturing and the end-to-end supply chain.


• Ability to drive and promote operational excellence rigor throughout the organization, and additionally bring a leadership style that drives customer centricity to everything the supply chain organization does.


• Excellent communication skills including oral, written, presentation and ability to work cross-functionally to insure we provide exceptional customer satisfaction.


• Deep understanding of accounting, reporting, and annual budgeting.


• Proven track record of building and retaining world class leadership teams and driving engagement through the organization while managing, developing, and growing a diverse workforce.

The pay range for this position is $325,000 - $410,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is 50% of base pay. There is also long-term incentive offered with this role.
