Scope: 

Global position, supporting talent and diversity analytics, and reporting directly to the Senior Talent & Diversity Analyst.  This role interfaces internally with the HR community, Global Inclusion and Diversity CoE, and Global HR Information Systems. Externally, this role will interact with research partners who enable global talent management and organizational effectiveness processes. 

Job Summary:

Responsible for initial data collection, clean-up, and formula curations for global and divisional reports and analytics across all global talent processes/programs, such as, but not limited to, Talent Management, Inclusion & Diversity, Performance, Engagement, Development, etc.  In addition, this role is Super User for all TMOE systems/technology platforms. 

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Analytics & Reporting:


  • Collects, organizes, analyzes, and supports interpreting data directly from HCM and global talent dashboards.

  • Support formula creations (Excel, Tableau) and automation for global analytics to support TMOE priorities on internal and external benchmarks e.g., Gartner benchmark, McKinsey, Gallup – verbatim analysis.

  • Assists in generating global and divisional core talent and diversity analytics (visuals) over time e.g., headcount, gender diversity, and rolling turnover rates in alignment with global definitions. 

  • Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in talent and diversity programs.

  • Provides global and divisional reporting from Global TMOE CoE and Inclusion and Diversity CoE as approved and supervised by the Senior Talent & Diversity Analyst. 

  • Prepares initial data gathering needed for executive and board-level reports as needed by the business. Examples include monthly headcount reports, I&D data for the Board, Environmental Social and Corporate Governance Report. 

  • Operates as the employee data support for the global engagement survey. 

Technology & Data Integrity:


  • Provide support tickets (ServiceNow) to the HRIS team regarding HCM reporting needs and system functionality, such as User Acceptance Testing. 

  • Leverages a variety of technology formats (excel, Tableau, Oracle, etc.) to generate data downloads and reporting. 

  • Partners with Senior Talent and Diversity Analysts to identify data needs and support processes set in place to drive the quality of data. Conducts initial audits to ensure data integrity of TMOE-relevant data fields in My Cooper (Oracle HRIS). 

  • Develop a strong familiarity with all the TMOE reports and applications. Serves as backup or additional resource to the system administrator for the Oracle Performance Enablement, and Talent modules.

User/Customer Interface:


  • Makes presentations and conducts 1/1s with the divisional HR community to share insights & analytics as aligned with global templates. 

  • Identifies opportunity areas to provide information and analytics to support data management needs. 

  • Partner with regional and localized data administrators, and data management teams to ensure data integrity and drive process improvements as needed.

Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness Projects:


  • Holds a supporting team role on a variety of TMOE projects/initiatives as needed. For example, embedding LinkedIn Learning, Performance, Engagement, Employee Development Review, and respective report enhancements. 

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy for data mining and reports. 

  • Understanding of how data and analytics can be used to support HR needs. 

  • Strong Excel formula and data mining skills along with a variety of other data sources (ad hoc reporting via HRIS) 

  • Demonstrated experience in advanced analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, PowerBI, etc.)

  • Solution-oriented and creative with integrity.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and a commitment to timely follow-up. 

  • Able to communicate professionally across a wide variety of employee levels and locations. Some experience in working across multiple cultures & countries is preferred.

  • Able to manage confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner. General understanding of HR processes.

Work Environment:


  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer reading data, creating reports & presentations.

  • Regular communication via email, phone, virtual meeting tools, and in-person meetings with key stakeholders 

Experience & Education:


  • 3 years of experience in an area of data analytics and reporting in an HR function, preferably in a global setting. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, advanced analytics, statistics, or data science is preferred.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $80,096 and $106,795 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.  The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.  This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
