Basic Job Functions:




Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:




  • Manage the safe, efficient and profitable operations of all machinery used at NIPG NV, by continuing to grow and develop our preventative maintenance plan as well as the implementation and expansion of a predictive maintenance program.

  • Must have schedule flexibility (occasionally with short notice)

  • Ability to continuously multi-task while maintaining organization.

  • Must have a strong desire to improve. (Department, division and self.)

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with team.

  • Coordinate and manage the efficient operation of our multi-shift maintenance group.

  • Manage department cost while being extremely flexible to our customer's needs.

  • Foster relationships with all teammates, must be devoted to their development.

  • The supervisor will be involved with hiring and discipline decisions for teammates within the group.

  • The supervisor will assess teammates' performance and determine coaching needs through evaluating and providing consistent performance review as well as coaching for future advancement in the company.

  • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:






  • Associates Degree or higher in related field

  • 5 years leadership experience

  • Willingness to Change- Must be readily adaptable to change and be aninitiator of change.





Preferences:






  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations is preferred.

  • Experience in a highly automated environment.

  • Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLC experience is preferred.

  • Technical / Engineering background is preferred.
