Innova Solutions is currently seeking a CORE NETWORK TECHNICIAN with an Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly Clearance and experience with both Cisco and Juniper Routers to serve in the Global Network Operations Center of a trusted provider of secure, IP enabled, cloud-based, network solutions and professional services to the Federal Government. Our client's National Security Team supports the intelligence community, providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations. As a Core Network Technician you will ensure the smooth functioning of network systems, troubleshoot issues, and maintain hardware and software components.
Position type: Full-time W2 (No C2C - No VISA sponsorship candidates) Duration: 6 months with likely extension Location: Onsite in Chantilly, VA Pay Range: $51-57/hour including PTO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installs, configures, and supports the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), NRO's Internet Network, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system.
Maintains network hardware and software.
Monitors network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
Oversees network control centers.
Provides support to projects that involve networks.
Evaluates new network technologies and makes recommendations to project managers regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network.
Plans new network configurations and integration into existing networks to maintain optimal performance.
Ensures that plans for hardware and communications are adequate.
Develops and implements methodologies for analysis, installation, and support of voice communications systems.
Provides support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ACTIVE TS SCI CI Poly
Experience with both Cisco and Juniper routers
Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to:
Doctorate and 1 year experience,
OR master's degree and 2 years,
OR bachelor's degree and 3 years
OR associate degree and 5 years,
OR HS diploma and 7 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education.
Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: $51-57/hour including PTO, W2 Only.
