As an Internal Product Manager at Equifax, you will represent business partners to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs, so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions. This requires a detailed understanding of customer needs, as well as business vision and strategy, to prioritize investment, business value and delivery. You are able to work collaboratively with multiple development teams and you are passionate about technology, and the business opportunities it presents, with the ability to comprehend both technical and business topics to recommend options and solutions.

What you'll do


  • You will build strong working relationship within our alliances and with internal teams
  • You will lead partner meetings to find opportunities and determine product priorities
  • You will create and maintain several product roadmaps based on the segment you support for CSA (Employee Enablement, Technology, Business Operations and Corporate Solutions)
  • You will seek cross alliance collaboration and prioritization on solutions
  • You will maintain a CSA Global Catalog of products and services
  • You will engage directly with Product Owners to ensure they are executing on product feature prioritization, inclusive of Compliance issues (Patch, Vulnerability, Audit, TechSec, etc.)
  • You will partner with Delivery counterparts to align and execute against Roadmap priorities
  • You will develop communication materials and lead communication efforts around the product, priorities and future roadmaps
  • You will assist technical teams with issues that require technical expertise or complex systems knowledge
  • You will attend and lead design sessions with customers and partners
  • You will manage dependencies across the enterprise
  • You will work with key stakeholders to drive innovation and efficiency
  • You will resolve strategic issues that may impede team's ability to meet their goals
  • You will partner with product owners, scrum masters and delivery leads to align/balance capacity of BAU required activities with new product delivery activities

What experience you need


  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required with 7+ years experience as a developer, business analyst, team lead, product manager, product owner or other delivery role
  • Ability to act as a business analyst, team lead, product owner or other delivery role when needed and understand all components of full product life cycle management, inclusive of market research, roadmap creation, dependencies, prioritization, rollout/adoption, customer feedback, compliance & product health metrics
  • Position requires extensive product planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills and ability to work in multi-functional teams towards mutual success
  • Ability to negotiate and create consensus where appropriate with internal groups
  • You possess technical fluency, with the ability to comfortably discuss technology concepts, and have an understanding of the entire technology stack
  • You are an articulate communicator - both speaking and writing - and in a variety of styles including legal, business requirements and marketing
  • You have developed training and go to market materials; conducted in depth opportunity/risk analyses; excel at developing business requirements and are comfortable presenting judgment decisions to stakeholders

What could set you apart


  • You have experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or internal Product Manager, working with Agile Delivery Teams, utilizing Agile / Scrum / Kanban
  • You have experience using Product Management and Enterprise Agile delivery tools such as Aha!, ServiceNow and Jira
  • You have exceptional analytical skills and the ability to represent an abstract problem in the form of some finite real object of the system, which can be evaluated, designed and developed
  • You have experience in similar business product services and/or external customer/market experience
