This position starts at $21.65/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for first shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job task correctly. Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield. Responsible for inspecting carcass and making precision cut to remove quality defects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Average training time may require 2-3 months.
REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees. Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 20 seconds.
Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment.
Must have at least 3 months previous work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months. This facility does not accept rehires.
