General Summary
The Truck Driver transports goods and raw materials over land to job sites.
Starting wage $27 - $34/hour. Health benefits available 1st of month following date of hire.
Essential Job Accountabilities
This Driver must be capable of moving equipment, hauling drill cuttings and/or fluids in a safe and professional manner.
Load, unload and secure load as per DOT laws and Layne Christensen Company policies.
Capable of maintaining and turning in DOT log book, driver report, and receipts in a timely manner.
Maintain valid Class A CDL license, with Tanker and Haz-Mat Endorsement
Requires extensive out of town and/or out of state work including overnight and weekend travel
Inspect loads properly
Able to direct helper when needed
Education
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience
Certification
Technical school certification preferred.
Class A drivers license with a tanker endorsement
Work Experience
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience of professional driving experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to read blueprints.
Proficient in basic math.
Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
Good communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
