PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position will play a vital role in the day to day operations of all office functions. The candidate should be able to multi task, pay close attention to detail and have knowledge of time entry. This position will report to the Area Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Performs a variety of clerical work involving standardized forms, reports, data, and procedures using established instruction/routines;

  • Prepares simple forms or reports; sorts and files documentation;

  • Maintains historical records by filing documents;

  • Routes incoming mail, prepares outgoing mail and correspondence or other printed materials;

  • Organizes and maintains file systems, and files correspondence and other records;

  • Greets visitors and directs to appropriate area or person;

  • Assist the Aggregate sales team with setting up/correcting orders in POS system;

  • Add products to orders at the request of sales team/weighmasters;

  • Answer phone calls for "aggregate sales in KY" option of directory and transfer to appropriate quarry/salesman;

  • Run various reports for aggregate sales team when directed;

  • Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance;

  • Provides support for assigned department ;

  • Answer phone calls and route calls as needed;

  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed;

  • Assist the facility in day to day office functions to insure efficiency;

  • Office Errands;

  • Assist Employees with annual benefit enrollments and any other online needs;

  • Order and Job Entries and/or Adjustments;

  • Coordinates community involvement and activities;

  • Clean the office from day to day;


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate with 3-5 years' work experience in similar position, or 2 year associates degree;

  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organization levels, including senior management;

  • Experience within the construction industry strongly preferred;

  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures;

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices;

  • Excellent communication skills and professional personal presentation;

  • Organizing; planning, and customer service orientation;

  • Great attention to detail and stress tolerance;

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products preferred.
