Job Description:

The Sourcing Analyst manages purchasing operations, spend analytics, and systems to ensure delivery of procurement programs to support Epiq business operations.  This position works closely with all business unit key stakeholders, Finance, and IT, reporting to the Director of Procurement, to ensure delivery of procurement operations and supporting the business’ overall strategic vision.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement operations, including administrative support of purchase requisition, purchase orders or any other activities required to support Epiq’s business requirements.


• Negotiate and manage routine supplier agreements, minimizing exposure to contractual risks in external relationships.


• Understand business operation needs and foster a collaborative environment with key stakeholders.


• Utilize advanced data analysis skills to provide consolidated supplier spend analytics and identify savings opportunities.


• Support or execute sourcing events and reduce external spend through competitive bidding.


• Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the procurement process.


• Build relationships and rapport with business lines to support strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience.


• 3+ years of business experience in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement.


• Proven category and/or procurement experience and sound understanding of procurement processes.


• Strong business and negotiation skills.


• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools, i.e., Excel, PowerPoint and Word.


• Analytical and strategic mindset – economic and math skills, and the ability to analyze information and data.


• Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk.


• Knowledge of category management and business planning.


• SAP knowledge a plus.
