Job Summary


Provide general support to the students and faculty in the college, assisting departments and college as needed.



Responsibilities



The duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Provide assistance to students with, for instance, direction, course permissions, help in routing forms, and front desk customer service. Collect, route, and follow up on JagCard access permissions and terminations.

  • Provide assistance to faculty with ensuring appropriate and sufficient office supplies (maintaining inventory and ordering as needed), photocopying, preparing test packets, serving as liaison between faculty and Testing & Disability Services (e.g. test proctoring, coordinating exit exams).

  • Manage student employees including, but not limited to working with departments for hiring, termination, access permissions, managing timesheets, effort reporting, etc.

  • Assist faculty and students with travel (e.g. authorization forms, expense forms, conference registration, reservations)

  • With the assistance of the CSM Business Specialist, support faculty and departments on budgetary matters (e.g. run financial reports, submit check requests), the timely processing of personnel actions for part time faculty to include but not limited to hiring, termination, time, and attendance, reporting ACA tracking, etc.

  • Perform other related duties as needed.





Required Qualifications


Associate degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of three years' progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions; OR High School Diploma, GED from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and six years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.



Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities






Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.




SKILLS




Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated project management skills and team experience.




ABILITIES




Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to maintain a professional work environment. Ability to manage multiple projects while supervising student employees, answering phone and business process. Commitment to the development of a student-centered residential campus environment. Ability to be punctual in all job duties.



Shift/Salary/Benefits


Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)


Pay Grade: 10


Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
