Job Summary:


The Clinical Assistant Professor position will be in the Department ofEmergency Medicine.  This position is actively involved in patient careand teaching medical students and residents at the various OSU EmergencyMedicine hospital contracts.  Appropriate effort in scholarly activity andservice will be expected.  Professional experience of sufficient depth toqualify for faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor isrequired.



Environmental Hazards:

Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.



Physical Requirements:

-Requires a DO or MD degree
-Eligibility for licensure in the state of Oklahoma
-Board Certification in Emergency Medicine


Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:

Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. The position requires stronganalytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, and advanced problem-solvingskills. Computer skills are needed to operate electronic medical records. Goodcommunication and leadership skills are a positive.  Interpersonal skillsare required to interact effectively with faculty, students, clients, andproviders.
