(Contingent upon available funding): 16.25 - 19.80, Hourly Work Schedule: 8am - 5pm or TBD by Supervisor Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Change keying on lock cylinders.Repair, adjust, replace and install door locks. Install, maintain and repair low-voltage electronic access devices.Adjusts and changes function of door locks as necessary by changing internal parts or exchanging entire lock body to ensure the mechanical security of University roomsRegular exposure to disagreeable conditions, extreme temperature changes, odors and loud noises.Regularly stands, lifts, bends, stoops, lifts above shoulders and carries 50 lbs or more.Appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment), gloves, safety glasses, etc are provided for use in the workplace.The employee in this position may be required to work overtime after 4 pm, shift work, and be on a rotating standby for emergencies during non-business hours including when the university is closed and/or other events after 5 pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays when management deems necessary.
