Teaching Assistant Professor of Collaborative Piano
The Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music
 Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma 
Responsibilities:  The Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music seeks a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor of Collaborative Piano.  Teaching assignments will be made according to the School's needs and the candidate's expertise, with preference given to candidates illustrating significant experience in performing with instrumentalists and vocalists, and in coaching collaborations that include piano.  The candidate would teach the two-semester Collaborative Piano course and Class Piano as needed.  A portion of the assigned load will include collaborating with faculty, guest artists and student performers.  The position may also include teaching secondary applied piano lessons and/or chamber music coaching.  The candidate is expected to engage in service to the unit and their profession, to be productive as an artist/scholar, and to promote an inclusive workplace and learning environment.Qualifications:  Master's degree required.  Doctorate in Collaborative Piano or equivalent professional experience preferred.Rank and Salary:  Teaching Assistant Professor.  Salary commensurate with qualifications, contingent upon funding availability.Beginning Date:  August 2024Oklahoma State University:  The University (25,000 students at its main campus in Stillwater) is located approximately 65 miles from Tulsa and Oklahoma City.  The Greenwood School of Music has thirty-six full-time and thirteen part-time faculty members and is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.  The School offers the degrees of Master of Music (with options in applied music or conducting); Bachelor of Music (with options in music education, performance, and jazz performance); Bachelor of Arts (including a composition option); and Bachelor of Science in music industry.  The Greenwood School of Music is committed to fostering an equitable workplace environment inclusive across all races, genders, ages, and identities.Application:  To receive full consideration, please submit online via Interfolio a letter of application, curriculum vitae, reference list with a minimum of three references, and links to video recordings of collaborative performances with both instrumentalists and singers.  Additional materials may be requested at a later date.  Apply at
