Job Description: Electronically process a range of personnel actions. Review personnel records for accuracy of specified data elements. File personnel documents in appropriate files to ensure security and confidentiality. Calculate Service Computation Dates (SCD) reviews using Official Personnel Folders (OPF). Provide required employment verification and request appropriate records from the National Records Center, as well as forwarding the records of departed employees. Track and input the full range of standard and non-standard personnel actions. Obtain employment histories from other agencies (Standard Form [SF]-75), the Federal Records Center (SF-127), and outside sources. Advise and support the government in writing commitment and offer letters. Help with incoming new employees, reviewing forms for accuracy and completeness, and answering numerous and varied questions. Conduct SCDs for employees or re-computes SCDs dates using electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPF) and automated computer software. Prepare reports and spreadsheets on actions including Entry on Duties (EOD), and Not to Exceeds (NTE).
