Pay: $144,000 - $195,000

What you will do

The Sr. Manager, Content Excellence, works with global brand teams to drive Mental Availability through brand relevance and recognition. By applying consistent content creation strategies, capabilities and best practices, this role helps brands deliver assets, experiences and toolkits that serve both omnichannel and fit-for-purpose, fit-for-platform needs. Acting as a capability champion and partner, the Senior Manager, Content Excellence, will establish objectives and key results (OKRs) and will be jointly accountable with global brand leads for meeting target metrics. This role helps establish priorities and defines ways of working with Brand teams and agencies to develop creative assets and content, driving models that emphasize simplification, standardization and global efficiencies while improving brand outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for storytelling and be an influential and collaborative leader who brings thought leadership and expertise in specific focus areas, including brand equity, influencer marketing, ecommerce, SEO and digital shelf, and healthcare professional content.

Key Responsibilities


  • Help define and implement the "Kenvue Way" of building Mental Availability through creative and content with consumers and HCPs across channels
  • Embed Models and Frameworks that step change how we go to market globally, driving consistency of communications and clear message hierarchies, resulting in global brand recognition and local brand relevance.
  • Collaborate with brand leads to build frameworks, roadmaps, and prioritization strategies to exceed content excellence baselines and ambitions
  • Help define and implement content effectiveness scoring and evaluation processes and tools to improve measurable performance and accountability
  • Lead test and learn programs, scorecard creation and tracking across varied markets/brands; lead sharing and scaling best-in-class assets in our Digital Asset Management system
  • Guide a business segment as key subject matter expert, in end-to-end content development and production, from category entry points through to Digital Shelf
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline ideation, modular and composable production, transcreation and distribution across various platforms
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to brands and agency partners on our Science of Brand Growth guidelines, creative briefs, and other requirements. Reinforce a creative taxonomy to ensure that our content is organized, measurable, and easily searchable.
  • Contribute to and improve the process for transcreation and localization of content across different regions and languages
  • Stay up-to-date and investigate new behavioral and communication science, industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating those insights across global brands

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications


  • 8 years experience and demonstrated proficiency in a content creation role
  • Comprehensive understanding of the content ecosystem and how brands, agencies, production partners, creators, publishers, influencers and stores integrate to optimize Mental Availability
  • Exceptional ability to manage complexity of working across multiple global brand teams and comfort with ambiguity, is required
  • Able to be an individual contributor, willing and eager to work in an agile hands-on capacity to serve as a partner and trusted resource to marketers who lead content development
  • Passion for clear storytelling, message hierarchy development, consumer experience mapping, content creation trends, including trends in addressable creative and influencer marketing
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or related field.



  • Experience managing agency relationships in a global context, and a strong understanding of the agency ecosystem and its role in supporting a multi-brand business.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with brand teams and agency ecosystem.


Desired Qualifications


  • Direct agency experience in either lead-agency models or Production models.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, and business savvy orientation with strong appreciation for standard methodologies and governance in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.


What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $144,000 - $195,000. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
