Position Summary
 

Provide a general statement regarding the overall objective of the position (e.g., the purpose of the job and why this position exists) 

The intern, Americas Channel, will be responsible for learning the Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing (CPL) and the Digital Identity & Security line of business and products.  
 

This position will work closely with the Americas channel team including key technical contacts, channel account managers & distribution to help them build a vision and execute on strategy that derives maximum business benefit from offering our portfolio and platform of solutions to the end customer.
 

The Intern will learn cybersecurity positioning in the marketplace and expect to have an understanding of how to drive incremental impact thru business planning and both internal and external ecosystems

Regulatory Compliance Requirements 

Work authorization in US.
 

Key Areas of Responsibility 
 

•    Daily interaction with internal and external ecosystem value-added reselling partners yielding repeatable joint investment plans scalable to Americas channel region
•    Enable and educate value-added reselling partners to drive Thales sales thru campaign enablement. 
•    Assist in planning and development of go-to-market strategies and execute on brand and sales initiatives to deliver on the strategy. 
•    Learn and conduct scalable system analysis of metrics associated with overall coverage in region identifying gaps where assessment is needed.
•    Understand key partner goals and objectives and come to agreement on mutual goals that align the partner with ours. 
•    Become conversant on the partner business metrics of taking on our solutions and building a profitable business selling, implementing, and supporting the overall platform solution.

Minimum Qualifications
 

•    Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for any Visa or sponsorship
•    Must provide documentation that demonstrates you are at least entering your Junior year of university.
•    Coursework experience in cybersecurity or business with a focus on sales and/or communication 
•    Coursework with background in security, networking, business, cloud based or Infrastructure 
•    Capable of remote & independent working environment 
•    Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to engage with all levels of internal organization.
•    Using business-planning skills to achieve a high level presentation and goal achievement. 
•    Ability to execute and deliver a defined plan to on time and with critical feedback
