Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an AP Specialist for a 3+ month contract to hire role.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the logistics and customer service team regarding ay freight or related vendor invoices


• Match and enter vendor invoices with purchase orders in NetSuite and/or Kuebix


• Ensure invoice pricing and terms are in compliance with our purchase order or sales order


• Seek invoice approvals per the corporate delegation of authority for invoices without a purchase order


• Verify proper G/L accounts on invoices that require review/approval


• Retain digital invoice copies


• Analyze current processes and recommend changes to develop and implement best practice procedures in invoice processing


• Research discrepancies as needed, ensuring timely processing or refusal of vendor invoices


• Answer any inquires for vendors on status of payments

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience in invoice processing preferred


• Accounts Payable experience with freight invoices preferred


• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with emphasis on being detailed oriented


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Prove to be an effective team member and display initiative


• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner


• Able to meet month-end deadlines


• Experience with Excel capable of VLOOKUP's, search and find, filter, sorting


• NetSuite experience


• Team player, being asked to perform a duty outside main job function


• Kuebix system experience is a plus


• Solid understanding of logistics and accounting terminology a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
