RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Minneapolis, MN that is seeking an HR Business Partner.

Responsibilities:


  • Partner with managers and leaders to identify, establish, and execute HR strategies and initiatives; Establish trusted relationships with employees and managers

  • Provide employee relations support including policy implementation, interpretation, and enforcement; Conduct employee investigations and partner with Employee Relations where needed; Swiftly resolve disputes and find solutions to problems

  • Support business goals, strengthen organizational effectiveness, impact performance, retention, employee engagement, and promote the development of employees and managers

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to create an environment that optimizes the critical people resources and matches them to the needs of the business

  • Actively engage with employees at all levels to create and sustain a solid relationship network, maintain a reliable pulse on organization dynamics and behaviors that affect employee engagement and business goals

  • Proactively recommend actions to management where concerns may arise, or patterns of employee issues could emerge

  • Lead change within the business; Design processes and approaches which prepare employees for ongoing change and transformation







REQUIREMENTS:



  • 8+ years of total HR experience; minimum of five years of prior HR Business Partner experience

  • Understanding of, and experience with, core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, leadership development, training)

  • Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred

  • Proven ability to influence decision making; courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professional and poise

  • Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships

  • Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations; highly adaptable to a fluid and ever-changing work environment

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy in interactions with all levels of the organization

  • Strong experience and demonstrated skills in handling a variety of employee relations matters

  • Excellent follow-through skills and the ability to anticipate and address business needs proactively

  • Possess a strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to take initiative and look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies; Have a strong sense of urgency

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in managing through multiple priorities with overlapping tasks across multiple businesses

  • Team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to a high standard of professional conduct

  • Strong knowledge in employment laws; Multi-jurisdiction experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
