RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a System Administrator in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities:

• System Administrator will design, build, and deploy, and administer large scale multi-domain enterprise Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and Azure, M365, and O365 environments


• Plans and directs upgrades of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and Azure/M365 infrastructure and related components


• Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems utilizing both on-premises and cloud-based hosting technologies


• Design and administer Configuration Management tools and suites and Patch Management solutions for desired state configuration and baseline management and control


• Analyze requirements and system architectures to develop system requirements specifications and resulting design plans


• Administer, operate, manage, and maintain components for on-premises and cloud-based virtualized systems


• Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients


• As a System Administrator, you will build, maintain, and migrate a variety of physical and virtual systems to on-premises, cloud, or hybrid infrastructures


• Provide support to multiple globally dispersed WAN connected sites


• Responsible for supporting solutions throughout the entire IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, and providing O&M support

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
