Position Summary:


Conduct the day-to-day production activities associated with assigned duties on a specific production team.

Must be able to assemble and package parts to customer specifications.


Be able to manage a Kanban system


Perform job duties while utilizing EMLS principles.


Perform job duties in a lean atmosphere


Be able to operate machinery and basic hand tools.


Participate in core team and Continuous Improvement events.


Be able to work and with others to achieve department goals.


Be able to set up and adjust production equipment.


Cross training with other team members.


Assist the Production, Shipping, Receiving and Engineering Departments in locating materials.


Report inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.



Minimum Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications


Qualified Individual will be required to have a high school degree or equivalent and 1+ years' experience.


Forklift Certified.


Excellent written and Verbal skills


Basic Math skills


Ability to stand on feet for 8 or more hours


Ability to walk, use hands to include reaching, balance, and talking.


Ability to work at a fast efficient pace without sacrificing quality.


Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs.


Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision; ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), Ability to see color required.


Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.


Ability to focus on, manipulate and assemble small parts for 2 hours on a continuous basis.


Eye and hearing protection, cut/heat resistant gloves, and steel toed shoes mandatory.


Basic knowledge of hand tools


Minor computer skills


Problem solving skills


Great teamwork-oriented attitude.


Ability to achieve deadlines.
