TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST


POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE 
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting: sourcing, screening, and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partners with Hiring Manager to strategically source and project manage the full life-cycle recruiting process

  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments, reference checking, and makes recommendations for hiring selection decisions

  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory

  • Works with HR Manager to focus on effective branding across the nation using the company website and through job boards

  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates

  • Works with HR Manager to develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates

  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process

  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals

  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, avoiding discrimination to include disparate impact and disparate treatment

  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Post and close job ads in ATS/HRMS

  • Send rejection letters & archive candidates and closed job postings

  • Monitor postings to ensure that hiring managers are updating candidate statuses

  • Keep candidates in ATS updated by typing phone screen requests and upload into ATS/HRMS

  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy

  • Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to recruiting in our industry

  • Maintains job postings and updates as needed


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)



  • 3-5+ years full cycle recruiting experience

  • HRIS/ATS experience

  • Business Acumen

  • Communication

  • Cultural Awareness

  • Relationship Management

  • National reach and resources

  • Valid Driver's License is a requirement
