We're seeking a proactive Senior Strategic Planning Analyst. This role involves close collaboration with our Senior Finance Director and CFO. You'll be instrumental in developing and executing our investor relations strategy, using data analytics for strategic decision messaging and decision-making, enhancing business processes within our finance departments, evaluating and analyzing industry-related events, and assisting in mergers and acquisitions. As a senior analyst, you'll gain exposure across the organization, working with leaders throughout the organization. In addition, you will participate in conversations with external relationships to Boise Cascade’s corporate finance function, including important constituents in the investor relations and investment banking arenas.


Responsibilities



  • Analyze financial data and market trends for actionable insights.

  • Prepare and present financial insights to senior management.

  • Utilize data analytics tools to enhance our investor relations data collection, strategy,

  • and messaging.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and utilize external resources for accurate and timely

  • information sharing.

  • Contribute to the evaluation, execution, and integration of mergers and acquisitions.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field. An MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

  • Robust analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools, including data visualization.

  • Proficient in financial analysis, with a solid understanding of valuation and modeling techniques used by investors and analysts.

  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and curiosity about capital markets and our business. Must anticipate needs proactively and uphold the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize/manage multiple tasks.
