Two Six Technologies is seeking an Electronics Product Design Engineer to develop new electronics products. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to generate designs for RF, Network, Digital, Power, and Mixed Signal applications
Design quick-turn printed circuit boards (PCBs) using CAD tools that meet mission requirements for size, power consumption, and capabilities
Research and develop solutions for productization including I/O, power, casing, and other considerations. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, testers, and other disciplines to rapidly develop fieldable products.
Identify and coordinate manufacturing with appropriate contract board and assembly houses
Perform quality assurance and documentation of completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, and conformity to standards, procedures, and specifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience designing PCBs including experience with multi-layer boards, SMT, RF, high-speed digital design (i.e. FPGAs), and high-density design.
Experience with design tools such as Altium and KiCad
Knowledge and familiarity with concepts related to signal integrity, RF impedance, and EMI
Understanding of PCB manufacturing and experience quoting and working with contract fabrication and assembly vendors
Demonstrated experience in using Git or equivalent code version control software
Comfort with soldering and assembly for prototype or test devices
Nice to haves:
Experience in the cybersecurity domain
Clearance Requirements:
Active US Security clearance of Secret level with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI
