“A Day in the Life”

As a Construction & Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for general maintenance, general construction, remodeling work and preparation of buildings for delivery to customer sites.

“What You’ll Do”

• Installation of structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware using hand or power tools per plan, drawings and to current relevant buildingcode


• Perform maintenance service, repairs and construction in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical.


• Performconstruction work related to remodeling ormodifyingmodularbuildings


• Demolish,replaceor construct walls, including framing,drywalland other finish-outfunctions


• Light electrical work; changing bulbs,rewiringor adjusting wiring within a frame or wiring for new connections,switchesandoutlets


• Light plumbing work; removing,remodelingor installing new plumbing pipes andfixtures


• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements as noted on building plans orreasonablyimplied


• Participate in and practice 5S and LEAN in theplan


• Other duties as assigned

“Must Haves”

• Able to work outside in variable weatherconditions


• Ability to use both manual and power toolsand follow operatingguidelines


• Ability to use mathematics to calculate length, width, depth, etc. as it relates to construction and accuracy of specs andrequirements


• Ability tofollowspokenand writteninstructionand work in fast paced construction environment with minimal guidance from leads orsupervisors


• Abilityto safely performalltasksand understand Company’s safety policies andprocedures


• Deliver ahigh qualityoutput consistent with the Company’s construction standards


• Able to take, record and follow standard measurements and cut or separate materials to specific measurements orquantities


• Prior experience in constructionor related workrequired


• Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC or other specialtiespreferred


• Position requires manual dexterity and the ability tomaintainphysical activity for most of theday


• Must be able tolift upto50poundsand hold or lift a variety ofobjects


• Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual laboractivities
