Scheduled Hours: 9:30am - 5:00pm

Pay: $22.00 per hour + possible overtime

Responsibilities:

  • The majority of the Operations Specialist's available work hours are spent on the floor in his or her assigned area(s) of responsibility. The Operations Specialist's main objective is to ensure a continuous workflow by moving associates to the work, or the work to the associates.

  • Ensures there are no idle associates by moving people to where the work is and balancing labor in assigned area of responsibility.

  • Ensures that associates are at their workstations and/or work areas at their assigned start and stop times.

  • Ensures that teammates have the tools and resources necessary to perform their daily job tasks. Refers tools issues to Management so these items can be addressed, obtained and/or fixed.

  • Understands the technical aspects of assigned area to better trouble-shoot workflow issues.

  • Makes recommendations to improve efficiency.

  • Directs all personnel, policy and procedural issues to Management personnel, as appropriate.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager as needs or conditions change in the ALC.


Assists the Supervisor in the following activities by:

  • Ensuring productivity and quality standards are achieved.

  • Communicating to the team when appropriate

  • Providing training and support of associates to ensure proper use of the LMS job codes.

  • Consistently following work instructions, training documents, and Preferred Methods (LMS)

  • Maintaining the department in audit readiness at all times

  • Sharing Gain Share and CSI information with associates

  • Re-enforcing the importance of inventory integrity, housekeeping and safety


Experience:

  • 3 years' experience in a distribution/warehouse environment preferred.

  • Must be in current position at least six (6) months

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and crouch for 8 hours a day.

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.

  • Must be able to maintain house cleaning best practices.

  • Free of disciplinary action in the last 6 months; less than 4 attendance points preferred

  • Must be able to work overtime and be flexible on start times.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $40,300.00 - $60,500.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
