Main Purpose



As a Lab Pack Plant Chemist, you will be receiving, identifying, and de-packing lab packs as they enter the facility.



This is a 1st Shift position, Mon-Fri 7:00AM-3:30PM.




Key Job Responsibilities

• De-pack lab pack quantities


• Perform bulk consolidation and lab pack consolidation


• Complete daily compliance inspection


• Ensure proper classification, identification, packaging and labelling of hazardous waste for transportation and disposal


• Complete all regulatory paperwork to ensure environmental compliance with all environmental regulations and internal procedures


• Sample in-house created materials


• Pour off material


• Respond to spills and other emergencies

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science or equivalent in applicable work experience required


• Hazardous waste experience a plus


• Experience operating a forklift preferred
