POSITION SUMMARY The Project Accountant Administrative' s primary responsibility is to support the project team regarding contract modifications, compliance, payments, reports and any other duties related to the project. Accountants are expected to travel to project sites if needed (if we get awarded a big job).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects.
• Assist project teams with any questions or needs related to the accounting department.
• Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects.
• Understand compliance requirements for assigned projects
• Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the phone -
• Answer all incoming phone calls from the main office number and transfer them appropriately - • Distribute all incoming mail/packages and prepare all outgoing mail -
• Ensure that all common areas are organized and operational; front desk/lobby, conference rooms, kitchen, and collaboration area -
• Order office supplies -
• Submit general office invoices to workflow and code them appropriately -
