Pepsi Bottling Ventures is based in NC, SC, MD, & DE. Purpose of Job: Oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment.
Job Duties:
Performs mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment.
Works on support systems for plant, such as boilers and air compressors.
Records work done on forms provided.
Performs plant shutdown and start up according to shift assignment.
Performs equipment changeovers.
Welds, brazes and uses plama cutter, as needed.
Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Communicates needs to the Maintenance Manager.
Identifies parts needed and maintains inventory of parts in stockroom.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Five (5) years industrial maintenance experience.
Maintenance troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
Good Machine Shop skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to successfully complete forklift certification.
State Certified Limited Electrical Contractor license preferred.
Rockwell software training preferred.
Knowledge of all aspects of bottling including: water treatment, batching, refrigeration, blending, and filling systems preferred.
Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk.
Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb, stand, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
