Job Description:

Location: REMOTE

Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Lead Splunk Engineer for a permanent/direct hire position that can sit completely remotely.


Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Lead a matrixed team of IT and security personnel in implementation and operationalization of security technologies, practices and processes


• Work with other key constituents to assess the viability and effectiveness of new technologies which are part of the strategic roadmap.


• Lead engineering efforts related to operational health and stability of platforms, monitoring and analytics capabilities


• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.


• Directly applicable work experience in a technical security role within a highly complex organization.


• Working knowledge of network layer security, host security on platforms, SIEM content development, SIEM data tools, and threat management.
