Primary Care Pediatrician
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Care Pediatrician to join our thriving practice!
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing comprehensive medical care across all ages. You will build strong relationships with your patients, working collaboratively to manage their health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive well-child examinations and monitor growth and development milestones.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic childhood illnesses and injuries.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, emphasizing preventative care and management of common pediatric conditions (e.g., asthma, allergies, ear infections).
Administer immunizations and educate families on the importance of vaccination schedules.
Perform age-appropriate procedures (e.g., immunizations, minor wound care).
Provide anticipatory guidance on healthy lifestyle choices, nutrition, and injury prevention.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to address developmental concerns and answer their questions.
Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pediatric medicine.
Qualifications:
State of Florida License
Pediatrics or Family Medicine required, Experience as a Primary Care Provider Preferred
Must be Board Certified
English and Portuguese Preferred, but must at least speak English and Spanish
Strong clinical skills and experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children of all ages and build rapport with parents and caregivers.
Passion for child health and development.
Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Time management skills to efficiently manage a patient load.
