Job Description

We are currently seeking a Hygiene Education Manager to lead hygiene education, sales support and market development activities.  Responsibilities will include Hygiene education and training, relationship management, Continuing Education (CE) administration and sales support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead Biolase Hygiene Education initiatives via:

- Acting as lead instructor for in-person and virtual hygiene courses, including lecturing at tradeshows and study clubs

- Acting as primary clinical support liaison for training programs, webinars and other Education Department initiatives

- Leading and managing the Hygiene Academy to include: mentoring, scheduling and ongoing content development efforts of the Epic Diodes

- Management and scheduling of third party Biolase hygiene key opinion leaders and trainers in support of company initiatives

- Clinical support of existing Biolase hygiene accounts via one: one coaching and mentorship. This to include field visits and trade events as required

· Manage training assignments to ensure consistent and timely application of Biolase Hygiene contractor resources.

· Assist Dir of Hygiene in training of Biolase sales team on clinical communication to include: clinical talk tracks, coding and ROI methodology. 

· Support DSO Sales Director in training and account development tasks

· Collaborate with Chief Dental Officer on development on manuals, infection control processes and clinical treatment procedures. 

·  This is a fully remote position

·  Travel up to 50% to support company training and education initiatives

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent clinical / managerial experience

· 10+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with laser certification

· PC proficiency with an emphasis on Zoom or similar remote learning applications

· Problem solving skills

· Conflict resolution skills

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
