Position Summary
The EVS Laundry Associate will be responsible for the daily operation of the linen room. This person will unload bulk linen carts from our laundry provider and restock the daily linen carts. The EVS Laundry Associate will then deliver the stocked linen carts to the designated areas throughout the hospital. The EVS Laundry Associate will also wash and dry mops and rags for the EVS department and pick up the soiled linen throughout the hospital.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Stocks any and all floor carts from bulk linen provider.

Delivers floor carts throughout the hospital and restocks as needed. Stocks the scrub dispensing machine with scrubs.

Washes mops, rags and other linens daily and/or as needed.

Picks up the soiled linen throughout the hospital and transports the linen to the soiled linen room.

May assist in the Environmental Services department as needed.

All other duties not specifically assigned.

Position Requirements
Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Experience: 2-5 years of hospital laundry experience preferred.
