About this role:
Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to join our team and work with the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture Blood Establishment Computer Software (VBECS) team for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this position, the analyst would work with the team in providing maintenance, sustainment, and warranty services for the VBECS product. The analyst will assist in maintaining a Ticket, Triage, and Resolution Log in support of ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets. This team would employ forward thinking and strategy to help mitigate Tier 3 ticket escalations and efficiently remediate any tickets that are escalated to Tier 3. Additionally, the Analyst would assist in keeping System Documentation current and assist the configuration manager in ensuring traceability from requirement to implementation in a softwares lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities:
Assist in capturing requirements and success criteria for VBECS Product
Work to proactively mitigate SNOW Tier 3 tickets and remediate expediently when tickets are elevated
Coordinate with VA leadership, developers, and analysts to provide insight into applications and systems
Maintain a Ticket, triage, and resolution log to support different levels of SNOW ticket severity
Requirements management and analysis using specified VA tools and ensure documentation is current
Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine, as necessary.
Develop products in adherence to 508 regulations and standards
Analyze areas for process improvement and identify technical solutions
