About the position

This is a rewarding long-term career opportunity to work with all levels of the Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care corporate team, as well as our franchisees as they make an impact in communities across the country. As the Manager of Franchise Development, you will be responsible for managing the process of identifying potential candidates, educating them on the value of the Kiddie Academy brand and support, and successfully awarding franchise agreements directly pertaining to Kiddie Academy franchised business for sale/acquisition. This position will also have regular communication with franchisees and other departments, as well as managing prospects through the Discovery Process. This position is based in our Corporate Office located in Abingdon, Maryland.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or related field


• 2 3+ years’ experience in sales; franchise experience preferred


• Process driven but creative and innovative


• Excellent interviewing and interpersonal skills


• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment


• Detail oriented


• Ability to work collaboratively to achieve business objectives


• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently


• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization


• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and familiar with CRM programs
