This is a hybrid position primarily based in any of the above listed US office locations. A role you will love:


As the Microsoft Dynamics Engineer, you'll be part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team which creates customer-oriented solutions aligned to the overall Computershare and Technology strategy and values. In this role you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs using agile development practices.


Other key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate and consult with agile teams and product managers to drive outcomes
  • Looking at industry trends and customer feedback to brainstorm new features
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architect teams on application design and solutions
  • Communicating effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback
  • Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
  • Interact directly with third party vendors and technology service providers
  • Providing informal guidance and sharing knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team's objectives
  • Supporting the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the team's delivery and supported products
  • Customization and Configuration:
    • Tailoring Dynamics 365: You'll customize the platform to meet specific business needs. This involves configuring entities, forms, views, and fields.
    • Workflows and Business Rules: Design and implement workflows, business rules, and process flows to automate business processes.

  • Development and Integration:
    • Coding: Develop custom plugins, custom workflow activities, and client-side scripts.
    • Integration: Integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems (such as SharePoint, Azure, or third-party applications) using APIs and connectors.




What will you bring to the role?


We are looking for someone who has a true passion and commitment to learning and development in Microsoft Dynamics 365. As a team that values collaboration and idea sharing, we will look to you to contribute to design decisions and to leverage your solid creative and strategic thinking skills.



You will also bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 development experience, with preference for candidates with experience using the Sales module.
  • Agile experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with JavaScript, C#, HTML and ASP.NET. Proficiency in these programming languages is crucial. JavaScript is used for client-side customizations, while C# is essential for server-side logic.

  • Microsoft Cloud Solution: A solid understanding of Microsoft's cloud offerings, including Azure.

  • SQL Databases: Dynamics 365 relies on SQL databases for data storage. You'll need to query, manipulate, and optimize data efficiently.

  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Debugging skills are vital. You'll encounter issues, so knowing how to troubleshoot and test your solutions is crucial.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales courses, certifications, or qualifications
  • Transformative mindset with understanding of application integration, microservices and resiliency design principles
  • Proven experience utilizing SDLC tools such as Git, ADO, Jira, etc.
  • Experience in public, private or hybrid cloud migration such as Azure or OpenShift
