Description

Serve as QA Analyst supporting a team engaged in developing web-based applications, encompassing complex applications and systems. The ideal candidate for this position meets the requirements of the position, is personable, and can work in a cross-functional team. Excellent oral and written communications skills are a necessity. Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies in coordination with team members and system owners
• Determine optimal testing approach and tools for target applications and systems
• Execute, document, and report on tests, communicate results to the team and system owners
• Engage proactively to ensure testing approach is sound and provides meaningful outputs.

Requirements

Must be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, and work independently and collaboratively as needed. Work onsite at the client site in Washington DC. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and superior interpersonal skills are a must.

• 4+ years of experience in using automation tools for testing systems and applications, writing and executing test scripts.
• Ability to use a wide variety of opensource technologies and tools.
• Experience with one or more tools such as GitHub Issues/GitLab Issues, Selenium, Cucumber, LoadRunner, Postman, JMeter, Blazemeter, SoapUI, OWASP Zap GUI, tools like Sahi, etc.
• Understanding and experience developing test automation strategies
• Ability to GUI driven tools to record UI actions.
• Experience collaborating with systems and IT operations.
• Comfort with rapidly changing applications and environments.
• Strong grasp of test automation tools.
• A strong focus on business outcomes.
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders

Desired Qualifications

• Government experience as a contractor
• Experience with cloud automation DevOps, Infrastructure Planning
• Ability to work independently and in an awesome team setting
• Experience or exposure with automation testing tools

EDUCATION

• Undergraduate Degree is highly desired but can be substituted with 2 additional years of experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Strong communication skills to correspond with clients or business analysts while gathering technical system specifications.
• Must be eligible to receive a Public Trust Clearance
