The engineer will join a team of process engineers designing and modifying facilities which produce chemicals, biochemicals, biofuels and related industrial products.

This position will be based in the Atlanta, Georgia or Greenville, South Carolina areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff and the methods, practices, and programs of the company
  • Applies academic knowledge to job responsibilities under close supervision of a more experienced technical professional
  • Assist in the development of engineering deliverables including philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations under supervision of an experienced technical professional.
  • Assist in the specification and selection of equipment to meet project criteria
  • Assist in the development of PFDs, P&IDs, and pump hydraulics.
  • Assignments typically involve individual project phases or projects of limited scope
Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate will have 0 - 3 years of experience
  • Co-op or Internship experience is preferred
  • Experience working in the specialty chemicals and.or pulp and paper industries
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited school.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is critical for this position
  • Ability to work and excel in team environments is critical for this position
