POSITION SUMMARY

Providing excellent customer service is imperative to this position as it shapes our customers' first impression of the Bank. Performs over-the-counter banking transactions with precision, efficiency, and promptness. Communicates with customer to get an understanding of the customers banking needs and creates an opportunity to promote additional banking products/services. Delivers superior service to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and retention. Generates referrals that result in sales for the Bank. Accurately balances a cash drawer and shows responsibility in handling cash and Bank securities on a daily basis.

Required Education:

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Additional banking courses through a banking school would be helpful.

Required Knowledge:

A general knowledge of basic mathematical calculations and techniques is required. An overall knowledge of typical bank-related products and services is strongly preferred.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of one-year previous cash handling experience is required, preferably in a financial institution.

• Sales or Customer Service relations experience would be helpful in dealing with customer assistance and satisfaction.

• Bank operations exposure would be an asset in understanding why procedures are required.

Required Skills:

• Strong math skills are required.

• Manual dexterity and proficiency with a calculator.

• The ability to balance transactions and utilize strategies for balancing transactions is essential.

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees and management.

• A professional appearance and demeanor is required.

• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and various financial-related software is preferred.

Physical Demands/Work Environment Requirements:

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop and bend. A valid driver's license is required. Must have the ability to work the days and hours required to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Mental Demands:

Strong analytical skills and data-driven tactics will contribute to increased results-oriented experimentations, measurements and rapid iteration across a wide variety of digital marketing strategies. Learning, thinking, concentration, the ability to influence, lead and interact well with others, the ability to exercise self-control, and the ability to work under stressful conditions, particularly in customer and employee relations' situations are necessary. Must have the ability to make decisions and exercise discretion when necessary.
